It’s shocking, isn’t it, that I haven’t finished a project since before Christmas (and now it’s June – eek)? That being said, it’s not as though I haven’t been knitting, I just seem to keep stalling when projects don’t turn out the way I want them to.

I’ve been knitting socks for my flatmate since about August and – 2 frogging sessions later – I’ve now decided to knit her some Express Lane socks. At least I know I can do those successfully (by the way, excellent pattern and the one the produced the first pair of socks that I could wear in public). I spent a couple of hours watching CSI last night and now have the first toe so at least I’ve made a start. Hopefully I won’t get knit fu block again.

I’ve told myself I’m not allowed to start the KnitLoveClub 2010 socks or the Swallowtail Shawl I want to make for myself until I’ve done these so hopefully I’ll whittle through them quickly.

I must dash – have to finish getting ready for work and all – but hopefully I’ll be posting more frequently from now on.
